The directory is arranged by State and by Category and is maintained by our website editors who evaluate sites for inclusion in the directory. All submissions are subject to editor evaluation, background check and reciprocal links from your website.

Step One
Determine whether a site is appropriate to list on the Safeguard Financial Investments Directory:
- Submit one website for your company.
- Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address.
- The Safeguard Financial Investments Directory has a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content or content that is not relevant to the 9 Categories within the Directory.
- Do not submit sites “under construction.” Wait until a site is complete before submitting it. Sites that are incomplete, or “Under Construction” notices, or contain broken graphics or links will not be accepted, and application ignored.
- Don’t submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links.
Step Two
Identify the single best category for your site, go to the Affiliate Application Form Page and follow the instructions on the submission form carefully. Descriptions of your business should describe the content of the site concisely and accurately. They can be promotional in nature, however they need to push the benefit of investing in your opportunity, and show the return on investment for the customer. If there is additional content needed for extra pages, our website editors will contact you for this information.
Step Three
A Safeguard Financial Investments Directory editor will review your submission and depending on volume, it may take several days or more before your submission is live. Only submit a business to the Safeguard Financial Investments Directory once. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion. Disguising your submission and submitting the same business more than once will result in disqualification for consideration.
Step Four
Choose the page on your website where you will place a Reciprocal Link back to Safeguard Financial. This can be on a ‘Preferred Partners’ page or a ‘Links’ page on your website.

Step Five
If your business has been accepted for inclusion in the directory but you are dissatisfied with the listing, you may send an email to an editor for the category explaining your disagreement. Any questions about the submission may also be emailed to the editor.
Editorial Discretion
Please recognize that making the Safeguard Financial Investments Directory a useful resource requires us to exercise broad editorial discretion in determining the content and structure of the directory. That discretion extends (but is not limited) to what businesses to include, where in the directory businesses are placed, whether and when to include more than one link to a site, when deep linking is appropriate, and the content of the title and description of the site. In addition, a businesses placement in the directory is subject to change or deletion at any time at our sole discretion. You should not rely on any aspect of a site’s inclusion in the directory.
